IN MEMORY OF DIANE WALLACE It is with great sadness that we bring you the news of the death of Diane Wallace. Diane died on Monday, February 23, Diane was a passionate and dedicated volunteer for Friends of the Dayton Arcade from the very beginning of our organization. She was our front line phone and email contact for the public as listed on all our promotional materials and Arcade website. She also conducted oral interviews for the new Arcade book interviewing folks who had lived, worked and shopped in the Arcade. She tirelessly promoted the cause of the Arcade. We will honor her memory with a renewed dedication to save her beloved Arcade. We also will miss her laughs and sense of humor and "can do" attitude. Diane enjoyed talking to people about the Arcade and booking walks and programs for Gem City Circle Walking Tours and Programs--there was not a person who was a stranger to Diane. Rest in peace dear friend. Final arrangements are in charge of Newcomer Funeral Home on Dayton-Xenia Road. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 1 p.m.-3 p.m. with a service 3 p.m.-4 p.m. |
